The Nylon Bowery camera bag is handcrafted from premium 1050D ballistic nylon and features full-grain leather accents and solid. The Bowery is padded with closed cell foam, designed with top-quality water-resistant waxed canvas and detailed with full-grain leather, antique brass hardware. The small front pockets take spare batteries, a microfibre cloth etc and the rather tight and inaccessible side pockets easily take a small pack of tissues or wipes. I have reproofed the canvas once and it shows gentle signs of weathering, which can either add character or look like the newness has worn off, whichever way you tend to see such things. I have had a canvas one for at least 2 years and despite being used very often it is wearing well and nothing has broken or come unstitched. I use it as a day to day carry when going light and it is excellent for travel as the spring catch is quick/easy to fasten and unfasten and the bag can easily be worn to the front to keep it away from pickpockets.Ĭoupled with wrist straps on the cameras I can take out or replace a camera in seconds. It will easily take 2 cameras with lenses like the 23 f1.4 or 56 f1.2. ![]() I find it quite liberating to know I have a defined limit on what I can take in it for a day out or walking around a foreign town/city.īelow it is carrying a an X-T1 with a large prime (can't recall which) and an X-E1 with the little 27mm. Either in leather or canvas, it's a great little bag to carry around a single X body with a couple of extra lenses or 2 X bodies with a lens on each. ![]()
